Marsh & McLennan Agency Colleagues Honored with Power Broker® Awards 3/1/2018

Risk & Insurance magazine named two Marsh & McLennan Agency colleagues as 2018 Power Broker® winners in its annual award program recognizing the most effective and influential commercial insurance brokers. Adam Sammons from the Dallas office was named a Power Broker for the nonprofit industry, and Nick Tait out of the San Diego office was recognized for his work in the pharmaceuticals/life science industry category.

Adam Sammons began his career in insurance and risk management in 2010 as a broker out of MMA’s Dallas office contributing significantly to growth within the organization. Adam is currently responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for MMA’s Nonprofit Practice.He is a key member of the team providing in-depth understanding of the risks our clients face and offers solutions that allow the client to focus on maximizing their impact on the communities they serve.

Nick Tait joined MMA’s San Diego office in 2009 and currently leads the Life Science Practice Group for the West region. By understanding the complexities of the pharmaceutical/life science industry, Nick has become an important resource for his clients. He specializes in providing comprehensive and tailored insurance programs for organizations known to have a high level of exposure.

The Power Broker designation is based on nominations provided by brokers and risk managers, and is judged based on the quality of the application and on references by risk managers in each industry sector. Hundreds of risk managers and risk executives are interviewed in the process of identifying and soliciting, evaluating, and judging the nominees. Brokers are judged primarily on their creativity in solving risk-related problems during the previous year, their demonstrated industry knowledge, and their high level of client service.
